Spring is crazy in this part of the world. My son had his first two varsity golf matches cancelled because of snow and cold. Today, it's like 45 degrees already and it's only 9am. That is dang near bathing suit weather. And, the sun is shinning. I haven't seen the sun in months.

Not a big fan of spring. Don't like the hot/cold/hot/cold. Summer is so short that if you take a nap, you might actually miss it. Besides, once it gets over 75, I'm too hot.

Fall is nice. We generally have spring weather (minus the partly snow, rain showers) in the fall. But ends abruptly. First dusting of snow is usually in October. When my kids were young, Halloween costumes had to be big enough for the snowsuit to fit under it.

Which brings me back to Easter - sometimes we have snow. Don't think it will be this year. Sigh, no snow bunny in my yard this year. Yep. Snowmen made into the shape of a bunny in our yard on Easter. It happens. Makes it hard to find the Easter eggs, but it keeps the chocolate nice and frozen!

So, I have a bunch of things that I have to do. Therefore, there is no contest this week, or next week. I am so sorry. However, I will have a contest back up and running the last Friday in April.

Yeah, don't like spring... have to clean out things... like the garage, the attic, the kids rooms (that is the worse), but we do get to take the golf clubs down. Well, the hubby and the boys. Me and the daughter, yeah, we enjoy the lakeside. So, then it becomes, cleaning, moving stuff back into the lake house, and getting it "ready". Yeah. Too much work, not enough sun. Sigh....
